B-Next Group SA, an innovative group based in Bôle, in the Canton of Neuchâtel, is looking for a software development engineer to contribute to software development in the ST programming language for our machine development families: 5-axis micro-milling, cylindrical honing and lapping, and loading robots, and other industrial automation applications such as complete automated production lines for industrial parts.

These new technologies have generated considerable interest in various end markets for precision parts manufacturing, including the medical, aerospace, electronics and jewelry industries worldwide. As a software development engineer, you will be a key member of our development team, working closely with our mechanical engineering department.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of software for the numerical control of our micro 5-axis CNC machines, SILEX, X-Base loader and other automation elements.
• Work closely with the mechanical engineering department to understand system requirements and ensure smooth integration between software and hardware.
• Help optimize software performance to ensure accurate machining and/or loading operations.
• Carry out in-depth tests and checks to guarantee software quality and reliability.
• Provide technical support and participate in the resolution of software-related problems for internal and external users.

Qualifications required:

• Degree in computer science from an engineering school with an interest in industrial computing.
• Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in programming CNC machines.
• Proficiency in ST programming language (IEC 61131-3).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Fluency in English; French preferred and/or German would be an asset.
• Minimum of 3 years working in Switzerland with current residency permit B or C.

• Immediately or by arrangement
